The arm can be lifted up or down, as well as the mirror head can swivel up and down.

This item is meant to be installed into studs. This is made to sustain use in the shower. It will withstand normal moisture and dampness in a bathroom environment; however, it is not meant to be under a direct water influence and is meant to stay overall in a dry area.?
