It will withstand normal moisture and dampness in a bathroom environment; however, it is not meant to be under a direct water influence and is meant to stay overall in a dry area.When installed as recommended by the manufacturer into studs, the product can hold up to a maximum of 20 lbs.

What is the measurement between the centers of the 2 mounting plates?A
These mounting plates can slide along with edge of the 20" shelf, so there is no affixed center to center measurement since these can be distanced at your option.?
Can it be installed in a shower?A
