| This is a very good quality product and looks / works great. I've owned similar magnifying lighted mirrors from other suppliers and this is as good as any, worth the price. Two key things for the install (presuming you have power already available at the desired location). 1st is that the mounting plate does not align to a standard box. Should not be an issue if the standard box you have installed is mounted to a wall stud...just affix the mirror mounting plate to the stud and use a wallboard anchor for the other point. 2nd is the electrical connection...the appliance itself doesn't have the usual black/white/green wires inside...instead they have a connector which feeds into the internal transformer...you simply install the stripped power feed wires (black, white, ground) into the appropriate slot in the connector and tighten the screw to hold the wires in place. Easy to do yourself. I plan on buying another of these for another bathroom in my home. |
