| First, It is as attractive as I hoped. The chrome finish complements. the towel racks and other bath fittings. Second, it was easy to install with the included plastic inserts and the base which was just asking to receive the cylinder. Third, I liked it that you included a black plastic insert that can be washed. Fourth I plan to order another one for my guest wash room |

This item does not have a rubber base. Though it does contain an inner canister cup in the bottom to hold the brush away from directly touching the metal. The item contains the brush head, brush handle and holder, and inner liner cup.?
